New purpose of this blog

Ok, so this blog finna be my life now. It will be my diary of thoughts, for my archive and your entertainment. I lost about 35-45%: I have been between that number lately, and it has been getting smaller, thus the purpose of range of percentages.

Got back from Hawaii on Thursday; it was ill. Wonderful hot weather and crystal blue water, my grandfather paid for everything and I really enjoyed his 93-years of life and warm heart as perfect company.

My current positions are 30% of my profile in GIGM and 60% in FMCN. I like GIGM because they run Everest Poker in the EU and their profits should be good considering the presence of poker around the economically stable nations of the world. GIGM is also partnering with other digital gaming companies, specifically a couple developers, to create an MMORPG. Hopefully this business plan involves creating a union between the majority of heavily consuming gamers' countries. Either way, they are a stable company to make 10-20% over the next couple of months.

Focus Media (FMCN) is a digital billboard company in China. *Think* Clear Channel and Viacom as one company, in a country with 1 billion people, and a large percentage of these people are consumers. Billboards are annoying enough in our increasingly global capitalist culture. There are already several digital billboards in Los Angeles (see the intersection of Beverly Glen and Santa Monica ((near Century City)) ). A New York Times Travel article writes, "All over town there are digital billboards with a countdown to the Games. Down to the second." This quote signifies both the culture of advertising in China and the emphasis of their importance in the global world of culture. Note that the coming Olympics may serve as a point of profit taking for many investors. I am very worried about this common consensus and will plan ahead by setting stops for -5% the previous day's close on all of my positions in order to sleep better knowing that if I wake up to doomsday, my online brokerage will sell my positions.

Advertising is, in my opinion, the biggest business in any consumer-run large nation. With the claims of massive pollution in Chinese cities, many Chinese will want to leave China but until then, corporations are going to be fighting each other paying top dollar to brainwash the large rising rural-to-urban new consumerist population. There are many other Chinese companies that would make good investments but they will all have to deal with Focus Media. Not to mention, the recent press it has gotten from Cramer and other widely known investment media (IDB Top 100), it is a perfect time to enter a position.

Other stocks I like are EJ which is a technically good stock to trade. I know nothing about technicals but it looks like now would be a good time to jump in. VDSI has shown so much strength in this bear market of the last month (depression messes with my memory, maybe its two months) and has a 52 week high just under 40% of the current price of $27. Buy on any dips.
